Chardonnay des Pierres Dorées

"The Pierres Dorées (Golden Stones) are so called because of the very chalky ochre-yellow rock typical from the south of Beaujolais. This parcel clings onto the craggy hill of an old quarry, so the wine is mineral and fresh.
I respect the lunar calendar to cultivate my vines and to produce my wines. The grapes are harvested by hand at optimum maturity and don’t need to be chaptalized."

"My grand-father was one of the first to cultivate chardonnay in Beaujolais 50 years ago. He made me discover the art of vine-growing, and I planted my first seedling at the age of 4.
I respect the lunar calendar to cultivate my vines and to produce my wines. The grapes are harvested by hand at optimum maturity and don’t need to be chaptalized."
